If you have a good amount of available space on your hard drive and you surf the Internet all the time, you may want to consider increasing the size of your cache. By making your cache bigger, you will be able to access recently visited Web sites quicker.
If you're interested, open up Internet Explorer and go to Tools, Internet Options. Now click on the Settings button under the Temporary Internet Files area. You can then see where your cache is presently set, so to make the amount of disk space you want your cache to use larger, use the arrow slider to move it up.
When you are sliding, the little box to the right will tell you how much space you're using, in terms of MB. Once you have it set where you would like it, click OK twice. So, if you ever want to decrease the space, follow the same directions to make it smaller. Also, if you would ever like to clear your cache out, go to Tools, Internet Options and click on the Delete Files button under Temporary Internet Files. Click OK and your cache history will be gone.
Remember that this tip is mostly for those of you who have some extra disk space and would like to access Web sites faster. If neither of those pertain to you, you may not want to even mess with your cache. That will be up to you.

Hi Dec
Thanks for the pictures & I loved the tunes on your myspace. You know from the right angle you look a bit like Shane Richey.
I did not know that Gareth Hunt had left us, must have missed the news that day.
Keep up the good work. Best Regards
Phil

My Reply:Hi Dec.
I have a situation where some titles of mine which were released in the Seventies are being re-released and I want to claim them for myself.
I used to be a member of PRS but was booted out because I didn't earn enough in royalities. Any advice would be appreciated.

Make it a Great Week ......J ***Membership of PRS is purely related to "will PRS make money from you?" That is why they make the requirements so tough to join...they do not want their computers clogged up with thousands of non earning members.
You do not say whether this is a major release on a major label or a re-release of tracks that did not earn much dosh in the first place and are being re-released on a small independent. All these facts are relevant to whether the tracks are going to earn money. The 70's were a long time ago! 37 years????
The normal practise is to write to PRS giving the title, length of each track ... Whether music, music with lyrics or just voice [talking] ... Then the label name, catalogue number and release date. They would also want to know the writers of lyrics and music plus the Publishing company each track is assigned to .... Best to send a photocopy of assignment agreement.
Then call them and discuss the way forward. Give them an indication of how much will be earned from anticipated sales.
They, then will make a reasonable decision based on that information.
As regards claiming the material for yourself ... That would entail starting your own publishing company [ www.makehits.co.uk/publishing.htm ]. Provided there is no other publisher involved then you simply issue the assignment contract for each title...the contracts are on the CDrom that comes with our Publishing Manual plus everything you need to know about the technical side. I am always on the end of the phone to advise you
Then Publishing membership of the PRS would depend, again, on the anticipation of making money!

The gags: ..... from Willie [ Best job in the world! ]
A guy walks into the local welfare office,
marches straight up to the counter and says,
"Hi... You know, I just HATE drawing welfare. I'd really rather have a
job."
The social worker behind the counter says, "Your timing is excellent.
We just got a job opening from a very wealthy old
man who wants a
chauffeur and bodyguard for his beautiful nymphomaniac daughter.
You'll have to drive around in his Mercedes, but he'll supply all of your
clothes. Because of the long hours, meals will be provided.
You'll be expected to escort her on her overseas holiday trips. You will have to satisfy her sexual urges.
You'll be provided a two-bedroom apartment above the garage. The starting salary is $200,000 a year."
The guy, wide-eyed, says, "You're Bullshittin' me!"
The Social Worker says,
"Yeah, well... You started it."============================================
